Pizza day

We had this brilliant idea the other day to have a "make your own pizza day" and today ended up being that day. Donovan loved it! Until it came time to eat it. Took one bite. Ate almost all the mushrooms and pepperoni off of it though. (He is not really a pizza guy in his defense). Reese ate more finished product than he did. We will have to keep this in mind next time we do it. Only one thing of dough needed.

Putting the pepperoni and the mushrooms on was his favorite part. More pepperoni made it in his mouth than on the pizza.

In other news we had a lovely and wet Labor day weekend. Friday we relaxed, Saturday Dono and I got caught in a rain storm at the grocery store and then I met up with some girlfriends at night for dinner and drinks. Sunday was a get-together at Tom's parents that Dono was so excited about, he only took a 35 minute nap so we could go over there sooner (and therefore crashed on the ride home pretty quick). There was some family and friends we hadn't seen in a little while there so it was a great time catching up with everyone and the little kids had two big kids to take care of them so Tom and I got a nice break! Today we hung out at home, took long (2.5 hour) naps, then headed over to my parents for a small get-together. A lovely time all around. Off to bed for me, got a big week coming up.
