Planes, Trains, and...

Guest post by Grandma "B"

Steve and I are enjoying living back in Missouri. One of the best parts, is getting to see the world through our grand childrens' eyes. That also means we have been getting to spend time taking Donovan places while his parents get to spend more one-on-one time with Reese. That's a win, win, win, win situation.
So here are some photos of our latest "Days with Dono"

September 25, 2011
We took him to the Radio Controlled Airshow at Buder Park, a big hit.

They flew pretty high.

Standing by one of the bigger planes, but focussing on those in the air.

Looking cool in his shades.

Pointing out what Granpa B should be looking at.

Apparently he needed a rest near another big plane.

He pointed a lot of planes out to us, he did not want us to miss a thing.

He liked it when a few of them made a lot of smoke.

In early October we took Donovan to the model train show in Kirkwood, MO. I have a feeling we will be on the circuit now, as it was also a big hit.

This is a working train and village, made of LEGOS.

It even had it's own space shuttle and wind energy...sort of.

This train was small enough to run in a box.

One of his favorites was this "Thomas" train.

A Santa Train had puffs of steam, and a car with coal for the bad boys and girls.
It also had a car full of toys for the girl little girls and boys.

The big train on the floor really caught his attention. The kind gentleman let him blow the whistle, start and stop the train.

He was not the only one to be entertained by the show.

We look forward to future adventures with the kids.
