Snow!

Today we had the first snow of the season, and although it was quite the pain in the butt for travel, and it was freezing cold, we enjoyed it! Donovan and I went to go check out a school for him and after we came home he wanted to go play in the snow. So we both bundled up and went outside. For all of 10 minutes but it was a successful 10 minutes. In that 10 minutes Donovan managed to make his first snow angel (he walked right into the snow, hesitated for 5 seconds, then flopped down on his knees, then laid down and rolled to his back and made an angel with his eyes tight shut. The best), eat lots of snow (and some grass), and throw lots of snow balls in the street. He wanted to make a snowman but it was way to cold and the snow was too dry for that (also there wasn't that much). I was just happy he got to put those snow boots and snow bibs I bought for him this year to use since this might be our only chance this winter.

This is an out-take but I love it. Pre-snow playing. All bundled up.

It was less than 20 degrees but he would have stayed out there all day if I would have let him.
