He had to keep super still with that thing on his cheek and this weird plate in his mouth. He was a champ! |
Then it was sisters turn for her cleaning. "Oh yeah right" is what she said. She sat up there and humored us as far as that but it ended there. She had no interest in having her teeth cleaned.
Brother even got in on the coaching and tried to talk her into it. It did not work. She didn't get upset or whine or cry, she just didn't open her mouth either. Maybe next visit.
Then when Dr. Evan, the dentist, came to see both kids they had me hold Reese on my lap, facing me, then lay her back. Well what do you know, they got to see her teeth! Turns out these pediatric dentists know a thing or two about kids. So we got to count her teeth, and she got the fluoride painted on her teeth like her big brother and then we were done and ready to go. This place gives the kids balloons, take home bags with new toothbrushes, toothpaste, floss, and a toy so they love it there. They also get Popsicles and Reese ate her's so fast she beat her brother! First time in history. And Reese's new pink toothbrush is about the tiniest and cutest thing I have ever seen. Another successful trip to the dentist!
